Automatically screenshot snow cams

The link gives the basics for a script which could be used to automatically take a screenshot of a web cam at set times each day. At the end of the season, dump all the screenshots into a program to make an avi of snow levels going up and down in fast forward. The script runs automatically when the pc is turned on and the browser doesn't need to be open.

I soon won't be able to leave my laptop on all day, or I'd do it myself.

 

BTW it's for a linux operating system.
