leprawn 0
Hey guys, I'm gonna be in Hokkaido for a few months and want to work at a ski resort during November and December. Do any of you guys know if it's fairly easy to land a job at a ski resort in Hokkaido? I don't mind what kind of work it is, I just want a free lift pass! Also, are ski resorts in Hokkaido strict with visa requirements? I'm currently on a specialist in Humanities visa. Think they'll hire me? Thanks so much for the help guys! Go Native 70
Few resorts other than Niseko hire foreigners up here. And if you're looking for a seasonal job in Niseko they'd be wanting you for longer than just a couple of months. Most will want you to work from late Nov to at least end of Feb. Your current visa would be fine though, I've been working up here for years on a similar visa.

I keep thinking of getting a Master's at some point, so might as well kill two birds with one stone and check out studying in another country. I'm not sure what sort of visa you do have, but I'd be curious to know how many hops u had to jump through to get it.

SantaCruz 0
Hmm, I should check that out. Or at the very least see if I can talk my boss into letting my work remote for a few weeks or a month. Thanks TB.
