Is that what the owner of the lodge told you? Its amazing how misinformed you can get in Japan. Happens to me all the time. I now always check with at least 3 different people. I know of Hakkoda hotel 7 mins by free bus Sakayu onsen 5 mins by free bus cheap cabins <10 mins drive + im sure there are more. Link to post Share on other sites
