gerard 6
Always fun to go with friends but alone is doable too. Stay at a backpackers place where they speak English and you'll definitely meet some interesting people.
SKI 15
Like any of the ones on http://www.snowjapan.com/e/hotel/hakuba-nagano-accommodation.html
SnowJapan Admin SnowJapan 178 Posted February 5, 2009 SnowJapan Admin Share Posted February 5, 2009 How sad it is that the extent of bad feelings amongst some people comes to this. Actually I am extremely uninterested in those feelings and the politics behind them and dealing with all that nonsense. I have deleted that last post, offensive as it was. (ger's post was, for the record, not the one that was offensive....) Lany: Hi, and welcome. I am sure that the places listed in the page linked above will be happy to hear from you and help you with specifics. Good luck.
Tubby Beaver 209
have you been yet? A day trip on yer own from Tokyo is easy peasy (and often I do that) but as Ger says, someone to ride with is definitely better. I won't be going back up until next weekend at the earliest though, no concrete plans I'm afraid good luck though
