hello all

i'm new to the list, so forgive the newbie question..

i'm thinking of heading to niseko for 10 days in january, either from 31 dec, or from 7th jan. being in the snow for new year could be pretty cool, but not at the expense of tracked up powder!!!

does it get really busy over the christmas/new year period?

jim

sound advice eh. can't argue with cheaper and quieter \:\)

i just checked on flights from tokyo to sapporo, and apparently plane ticket prices drop considerably from the 14th too for those that can wait longer...

thanks for the help

I seem to remember luffing through heaps of fine powder in early December last year. But I guess that doesn't count because all those people who believe the best snow is to be had from the end of December weren't there to see it. In this case, believing is seeing.

Naturally there was more snow later, but not necessarily better.
