Yuki's Passion 1
http://www.smash-uk.com/frf08/ List looks pretty good - though I must admit I dont know 8/10ths of the artists coming for the event. My good mate, Dr. Lolly, is definitely going and most likely I join him in the madness that is sure to follow. I have gotten into Rodrigo y Gabriella the last few months and since they play on Friday I would love to see them! Will look and see if it is possible to go up that weekend as it depends on club. Anybody else going?
me jane 0
I was thinking about going up with MMT. Have a few friends interested but I don't know if they'll go. You have to either buy a three day pass or one day ticket. Not really worth buying 2x one-day tickets cos that would work out almost the same price as the three day pass. Though of maybe going up on the Fri night, camping, getting a Sat ticket, and then coming back sometime on Sunday.
Oyuki kigan 0
I'd rather spend the money of a surf trip. After seeing Lollapalloza in 94 for $45 (canadian) i can't justify paying that much for corporate rock.
Kumapix 0
i think i was at that lollapalooza!
Yuki's Passion 1
94?!?! I was there!!
Oyuki kigan 0
That was an amazing lineup too. Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, Shonen Knife, The Breeders, George Clinton, the Pharcyde, Nick Cave, A Tribe Called Quest... oh yeah, and Green Day
Tubby Beaver 209
I don't like the line up...again. I think Summersonic has a better line up
me jane 0
Summersonic always seems to have a better lineup but you can't camp. Kind of puts a downer on the day having to stand on a crowded train for hours to get home afterwards.
Tubby Beaver 209
yeah I guess so. You could always just get a hotel room in Tokyo for the night and make a big night of it!
