Also, certain areas people dont have their own baths just cuz they get to use the onsens for free. Must be nice Link to post Share on other sites

Its on the boarder of Kumamoto and Oita. I think a few other places around there - the likes of Yufuin and Beppu maybe? Thing is, there are so many "off the map onsens" which are awesome! Ezorisu 0 Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 I recall something from an ancient travel-documentary program (Soko ga Shiritai ???) where there was some bubble-era luxury apato near Nagano where the bathtubs were supplied with nearby onsen water.
