2pints-mate 0
I find it quite interesting how the prices for some things are more expensive weekends vs weekdays. Take for example trains. Here in the UK they are a total rip off (and sometimes on time). And go on a weekend and you'll pay like 10 times more. (Perhaps a slight magnification of the truth). But in Japan they are the same cost whatever day you travel, right? Like food. Hotels are more expensive weekends. Same in Japan, right. What else.
muikabochi 208
Some ski resorts here now charge less on weekdays. Not sure how common that is..
Tubby Beaver 209
Really 2pints, are trains more expensive on weekends? I hadn't noticed that before, mind you I didn't use them that often. Do you mean the tube trains or just the regular network trains?
muikabochi 208
Definitely. Totally different. I remember a few years back the same ticket was over 4 times what it was on a weekday. Totally no consistency. whether that is changed now I don't know...
