Phil Stratford 0
Hi all I am new to Australia and planning to go to Japan end March for a skiing break in Japan, first time there. I will be going with wife and two kids, all good skiers and used to Val Disere type skiing. I want to go fairly close to Tokyo as I only have a week. Can someone recommend Shiga Kogen or Hakuba as the place to go? Will the snow still be good or is it a waste of time. Any tips please? Cheers Phil the Pom.
Fattwins 0
Snow till may top to bottom at both plus trees and BC. BC is better in Hakuba
iiyamadude 6
Yes I'm sure we can recommend Shiga Kogen or Hakuba as the place to go. Both should be fine. Check the Now reports on this site for archives of weather in previous seasons to get an idea. (links up top). Snow may well be great still then, but may also be getting rather spring-y. It will of course depend on how things go weather-wise. I would personally recommend Shiga Kogen with a few days in Nozawa Onsen.
