I have been lurking for a short while and this seems like a really great place.

 

I was wondering if there were any musicians on here?

 

I play a few (piano, violin) but my speciality is harpsicord (could you guess. Not the best of instruments to be moving around!

I'm a drummer. Used to be in a band for ages but not the last five years. Anyone looking for a drummer?

I'm a guitar player who sings also if no one else wants to. Where are you, Meister? Anywhere near Tokushima? Drummers are valued much more than guitarists. It you spit from a tall building, you'll probably hit a good guitar player. I'm sure you'll find a band.

 

Harpsicord. Cool. That was my sister's main instrument in her undergrad. She went that way from the piano. Don't you ever just want to pound those keys though?

I used to be in H M Forces as a musician I played Cornet/Trumpet I played all the usual stuff you have to do.We had a big swing band at one point.that was great

My clame to fame is that I did play at Wembley and in the Albert Hall

I now no longer play. I do miss it . I tried to teach myself keyboard.Then PC,s came along and I play on that.

When I was a kid I played the piano. Up to grade 2 I think. I was pretty good. Then I found out about girls.

Not that many of us. I suppose I only started because my mother played and we had one. Not the most portable of instruments but wonderful to be able to play.
