Ms Zoidberg 0
I heard about some temple guy doing an opening of the ski resort to bless it for the season (or something?). Do all the resorts have something going on like that, and are they public events?
LiquidX 0
I think they all get the local monk or whatever they are to come and do the ceremony to pray for a good season, no accidents, etc
NutteyCubey 0
Can anyone go?
slow 0
Actually, it's not a temple guy. It is a shrine guy. It's very common in Japan. When the new house was built on the site, it's a custome to ask a priest to pray for safety. I decided to go to shrine soon to bless for my parent's car , it just because I have some small troubles with the car after my parents got. I need to have God bless before I have a big accident. Ocean11 0
Shrine guy. I guess if you knew about it in advance, and really wanted to have paper on a stick waved at you, nobody would mind if you stood and bowed...
