Deep enough, deep enough. Baker did have a ton of snow. I saw no early season rocks to avoid at all. One of the days I was there it dumped over a foot. Wasn't the nice dry pow we are used to in Japan though.

Blackcomb had a fair amount of snow, but up near 7th Heaven where the mountain is pretty exposed the wind had taken a lot away. There were many rocks that had to be hastily avoided (or attempted to be at least). One time it was so tight I had to just say screw this and ride right down the center of some where the "most" snow was. But once you got in the trees it was nice and powdery.

Alas, now I am back in Tokyo where it appears the snow is about 11 months away.
