This weekend Ill be up in Yokohama/Tokyo - one of my best mates is getting married and I cant wait!! clap.gif

Its been over 4 years since all of my mates from Hiroshima are meeting up too...its going to be nuts crazy.gif Im sure there will be a lil alcohol drunk and shenanigans goin on....Lord knows Ian hasnt been let outta his cage for quite some time from what I hear ;\) :p

I dont know Yokohama nor Tokyo very well, so any bars worth going to? What about a nice Sunday afternoon brunch place? Any recommendations? Unfortunately cant meet up with SJers but any beta would be welcomed \:D thumbsup.gif

Yokohama is pretty shite actually. I'd stay up in Tokyo for bars and clubs. Unless its Izakaya action you looking for, Yokohama has loads. At the West Exit of Yok station there is a road full of Izakayas and some bars, an English one called the Tavern is pretty popular with ex-pats, not really my cup of tea though, beer is too pricey. Clubs in Yokohama are shite, go to Tokyo.

Dunno if theyre still open but have been to Club Yellow and Blue..they rocked. Just like to have a few ideas of places we can really make asses outta ourselves, I mean, a place where we can be civilized gentlemen...just like all foreigners and Japanese blokes \:\)

If any gaijin hanzai is commited over the weekend...Well, I just wanna state right now, it wasnt me. Scouts Honor!

Ageha in Chiba is awesome. Its part of Tokyo really, but technically in Chiba. Its HUGE!!

Yellow is good, i liked Womb in Shibuya but I haven't been there in ages. Ruby Rooms is small but sometimes its ok, depending whtas playing. Club Asia used to be decent as well, but its been a while. All in Shibuya.

The DJ from Orbital is playing in Ageha: http://www.clubberia.com/Event/Detail/?id=106180

France scene pshy trance in Cube 326: http://www.clubberia.com/Event/Detail/?id=106731

Funky house vibes in AIR: http://www.clubberia.com/Event/Detail/?id=105855

Only resident DJs in Yellow this weekend so doesnt worth the truble.

I love trance so most probably I would pick Cube 326. ;\)

Probably a bit late sorry - I was in Ishigaki. Second the bit about the lack of clubs in Yokohama, for bars and isakayas "Kannai" is the area you'd want to go but even there loads of places are closing down and there is nothing you wouldn't find a better version of in Tokyo. Stick with the Tokyo advice above.

Have a good weekend!

TB, we were at the Fish Bank in Ginza (?) and then the reception was after across the hallway. Something like the 45 floor and you could see both the Tokyo Tower and Mt. Fuji (it was very clear) and just beautiful!!! Food was good, but the alcohol was top-notch. The 2jikai place was so incredible too. Best weekend in 9 years here! Never made it to any clubs though \:\( ...but didnt need to as we had a blast!
