He is treating people preferentially, just because of their nationality.

 

Arbitrary preference and arbitrary dislike are the same thing. He is saying that he will only consiter dating Japanese girls, which

 

1) says that girls from other counries, no matter how suitable, are rejected outright

 

and 2) he makes his decision on pretty dumb generalizations (which do no favors to Japanese girls, either)

Racism is a belief or doctrine that differences in physical appearance between people (such as those upon which the concept of race is based) determine cultural or individual achievement, and usually involve the idea that one's own 'race' is superior.

 

But he's saying that his race is actually not superior - he's saying that Japanese woman ROCK! I don't find it racist, he's not keeping the white woman down, he's not keeping black woman from voting, he's not preventing Indian woman the right to work, he's simply saying - 'Japanese woman wanted'.

 

I'm telling you, it's yellow fever...
