I haven't been watching the Japanese news much of late, but I did here on CNN that hs is finishing up in September (?) Who's likely to replace him - anyone decent? Anyway, 3 prime candidates are Aso, Fukuda and Abe, all offspring (or relatives) of previous prime ministers. Just my impression but: ASO looks like a Yakuza hit man with his arrogant smirk FUKUDA reminds me of Gomer Pyle ABE seems to be the most popular but appears to be a bit of a cold fish.
