Nude model

I have been asked if I want to be a nude model for some art students. I just find it really funny and can't imagine doing it. Might be fun though

It's hard work if they want long poses. Short poses would be fine.

If they let outsiders in let me know, I might be interesting in joining, it's hard to find gaijin models here, they're usually Japanese.

I did some a long time ago. I much prefer to be behind the easel now, it's hard work. The best models are usually athletes of some sort, such as dancers, yoga people - cos they're able to hold long poses better.

I'm actually thinking of joining an atelier where you can paint models in the same pose (in a 2.5 hour session, with breaks of course) 5 days running. It sounds very good though it seems the models tend to be young Japanese women, so it doesn't give for that much variation in age, shape and gender.

modelling is fun man. a few words of advice. do your research and practice the poses a head of time. you don't want to realize half way through a session that you can't hold it.
