At elementary school in Japan, kids study how to calculate multiplication by reading it loud like

2x2=4 : Ninin ga shi

2x3=6 : Nisan ga roku

2x4=8 : Nishi ga hachi

2x5=10 : Nigo ju

2x6=12 : Niroku juni

.... to be continued....

And I also did, it still works can never forget them. This way is called Kuku. Do any other nations do it?

I am now studying a new way to study English by a book and in the book, the author recommends readers to read some sentences loud at least 80 times not trying any other sentences until we complete doing it 80 times.

Because he says if we did that way, we are to learn English from ears as well as eyes.

And he is sure by that way our brain can think sentences just as English not by transfering them from Japanese in our brain.

But....at this moment this way doesn't seem to work like the kuku way. Is this because language thing or because of my oldness?

Ok Weegeoff.

tsondaboy says I'd better give up to study English coz maybe I have already grown senile enough to disable to do that.

so

I replied something like

"Whoah....do you say that much?"

Kind of friendly arguement.

Gotcha?
