farquah 0
A freind of mine just completed the Great Sahara RAce in memory of a friend who went missing in the French ALps last year. Described as an ultra marathon it`s an amazing accomplishment and I have massive respect for him. A completely grueling race in temperatures soaring above 50c on many days!!!!! The terrain is unforgiving with only the amazing vbiews to keep you going!! He managed to complete the whole thing in the top twenty and with only one blister on hos foot which he puts down to using parachute silk as trainer linings and gaters!! Couple of photo`s he sent. HUGE CONGRATS!

farquah 0
Thanks BPC. Yeah wasn`t the happiest of endings we held an official memorial service this summer to try and put some closure to it for his parents. Unfortunately no body or clues have been found to what happened, despite engaging the services of specifically trainied underwater search dogs of which there are 8 in the world. Just shows the power of nature, and how much respect it deserves.
