Wonder how people from other countries where they never get any typhoones feel when they are to have one. First time is always scary?
slow 0
Typhoon is always exciting, isn't it? It's not so windy yet here in Tokyo.
indosnm 0
Scary? Not a chance, very exciting my first one was. Being a surfer they are about the only things that bring waves to thiis wave starved land and this year sucks for typhoons. Only 12 until now. Thats gotta be the worst season since I've been here! I might add, that down in South Australia we don't get typhoons or cyclones (only in the north). Instead we can get huge low pressure systems that form instantly to create havoc and then disappear. Here at least you can follow the path of the typhoon and have an idea where is going.
