Well....there are of course the famous All Blacks and the many nickname derivatives Black Caps : Cricket All Whites: soccer Tall Blacks: basketball Black Sox: softball Black Sticks : Hockey But now the Badminton team want to be called the Black Cocks! how ridiculous! http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,3328485a1823,00.html what next the national shearing team called the "Black sheep?" the lawn Bowling team the "blackjacks".
