sakebomb 0
Can anyone recommend a HTML Editor (software) to modify some simple HTML for web templates? Or web design soft, I haven't done web design for about 5 years now so I guess you could say I am way out of touch! Something that is free would make me very happy but I am open to other options! Cheers in advance!

montoya 0
maybe this can get you started: http://www.tips-tricks.com/web_tools.asp http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmaster/htmleditors.shtml http://www.hotscripts.com/Tools_and_Utilities/HTML_Editors/index.html might be simpler just to use textpad and modify stuff slowly
sakebomb 0
Textpad (wordpad?) Why didn't I think of that? Thanks Montoya, I will check the links out as well Cheers
montoya 0
textpad is much nicer than wordpad, I use it all the time: http://www.textpad.com/
Ocean11 0
If you make an alias of wordpad in the folder of the html files you're going to edit, you can drag the html files onto the alias to open them easily. I find this a big time saver, as habitually double clicking on the html files opens them in a browser which gets really annoying the second time you do it.
gamera 0
Sakebomb, I use Macromedia Dreamweaver. The good thing about it is you can change the template of the web pages you have created with it any time you want just by one work. When I used "Claris homepage", I could not do that. I needed to open each and every web page one after another and apply the template. I helped my friend who used "IBM Homepage builder". But I could not change the template so easily like I do now with Dreamweaver.
giggsy 0
Simple I think, but Front Page is easy to use for basic stuff.
