Every day our company canteen provides a choice of vegetables to accompany the offered meals. Without exception the choice is as follows: 1. Mashed potato 2. Baked potato 3. Chips 4. a green vege (usually peas) I once offered my opinion regarding the limited choice and was met with a look of shock. Apparently the chip is a vegetable in its own right.
