  1. I skied from 6 - 14 yrs old, then more than a decade later, I started snowboarding. I have 2 seasons of sliding side ways. But once I get on skies, I still remember and slide front/backward like I used to 10 yrs ago!
  2. I've used Palmer Centric (discontinued) for this season, as I got it for super cheap during last summer. I won't be buying another Palmer board as the top sheet of Centric got beat quite easily. I'll be buying Never Summer or Lib Tech next year, but morelikely Never Summer, since they have 3 yr warranty on their boards.
  3. I don't remember which one, as I was only 6 yrs old and my parents dragged me to go. My first day ended quite short as we've gone home after a series of events like this: getting ready, my dad helped me walk side ways up on flat area, he pushed me and I "skied" for 15 ft., fell down, and twisted my ankle. I still have this weird tendon/bone thing sticking out on my right inner ankle. It looks like I have two inner ankle bones.
  4. I'm going to Japan for a few days to a week, at the end of Jan or beginning of Feb of 2009 for a family function, and I thought I could hit up some of the resorts in Japan. I will be in Gumma, but as I don't have a driver's license there, so taking train/bullet train/taxi will be my main method of transportation. After doing some research on here, Gala Yuzawa seems like the easiest location for me to get to. (By taking Jouetsu Bullet Train from Takasaki station.) Then, maybe stay at Yuzawa Grand Hotel, as it seems to be the closest hotel. I have some questions: 1. Is there any othe
