  1. Thanks for the info. Shame they don't take credit cards. Is there a cut off date by which you have to buy a season pass? Do Happo One have a web page which is in English?
  2. Can you buy the pass for the season for Happo One with Cash only or can you use your credit card? Going in early January.
  3. The British passport only has a digital photo, no finerprinting. You still have to send in a normal style photo, thet just copy it. No new Laws made today in England. No new restrictions on our freedom. 'If it's free, tax it' and 'If there is something you like to do, they will make a Law against it'
  4. tubby beaver. it's the index finger they want. You are right. it takes long enough to get through immigration as it is.
  5. That's my trip cancelled. I do not agree with the 'Forced' collection of this style of information. Do not follow the American way. The Japanese are moaning enough as it is oveer the lack of tourists. The ski areas need visitors, but they moan about the Aussies. Don't visit Japan. Ski Europe instead.
  6. Thanks. Do you have any other website addresses of sKi/Boardder shops in Tokyo?
  7. I want to get some Scott Punisher ski's. Not sure l will find them in Tokyo
  8. Is it cheaper to buy ski's and boots in Tokyo? Been told that you can get a deal on winter gear.
  9. Thanks. I must admit that l'm concerned about the nite life. Already paid for my flight to Tokyo, otherwise l would change my mind and go to a European resort. Still, the lift pass and accommodation is far cheaper than Europe. Guess l'll have to wait and see??
  10. How far is Shiga Kogen from Hakuba? Thanks to everyone for their info..
  11. Can anyone throw some light on Hakuba nite life? Done 6 seasons in Europe, but have heard the scene at night is dull, by European standards, in Hakuba. Is this true? Cheers.
  12. I have been told by Hakuba47 Winter Park Office staff that the Happo One Season Ski Pass also gives you the right to ski/ride at Shiga-kogen. Is this true?
  13. Thanks. Japan is not Europe with it's joint lift passes. The lift companies can't work together in Hakuba. The Happy Valley Pass is not worth the money. Happo one pass @ Y70000 is good value l think. Gonna go to Shiga-kogen as well.
  14. Hi, I am going to Hakuba for a month in January. Can anyone tell me which ski pass is the best one to buy and to which mountain?
