  1. Hi everyone , can anyone recommend a reputable BC guiding outfit that is based out of Asahikawa. I will be there for two weeks in late January and would like to do a BC trip if possible.I know of only Hokkaido Powder Guides(unfortunately they are Furano based)and may not be able to meet my needs at the moment. All info greatly appreciated
  2. Hi everyone , I'm in the midst of planning a 2 week trip in Jan 08. Other than what I have read on wikiski and btw , I was looking for some first hand reports on this resort. Looks like I will have 12 days of boarding up my sleeve , is that too long a time to spend solely at this resort ?? Also from the research I have done so far most of the accomodation options in Asahikawa seem to be hotel based ( not a problem to me ) but I am struggling to find out room rates etc... Any comments or suggestions are much appreciated Cheers
  3. Yes and no , personally I find swapping lenses out to be a real pain , but that all depends on the design of the goggle and the laziness of the person. I have two pairs of Smith Fuse regulators. First pair has a sensor mirror lens (very light blue with a VLT of 70% ) which I use for flat light or snow days , the second pair are a rose/copper combo ( VLT of 36% )these are for mixed to sunny conditions. I always carry the spare in my bacpack just in case the conditions change suddenly.
