  1. Hi All Just trying to budget for my trip, does anyone know if the ski resorts at Nozawa Onsen or Myoko Kogen take credit card? Many Thanks!
  2. Hi I dont know a Ryokan in Shinjuku but I am staying at the Andon Ryokan is it near Ueno and Minowa Station. It was highly recommended by a friend and is reasonably priced.
  3. I shopped in Ochanomizu when i was ther in 06 - there were shops galore if your search the forums there was a post somewhere with directions.
  4. hey guys... Im coming to hakuba in a few weeks on my own and my japanese is awful - do you think it would be very difficult to meet people, get around etc etc?
  5. Hey Everyone... I'm heading to Hakuba in Feb and was wondering if anyone has some tips on good bars, restuarants, favourite mountain or any general info? Thanks!!
  6. Snobunny I found prices all relative in Niseko, there are also a few shops in Kutchan. You should find some gear but you wont get anything super cheap. The benefits of buying in OZ is you can claim the GST off your gear at the airport (that's what i did last year)...
  7. hey reddevil depends where you want to go... niseko is full of australians... i didnt enjoy that so i am trying hakuba this year so hopfully it wont be as bad... there are a few backpackers in hakuba around 3000yen/night... i know niseko is heavily booked also watch out for flights they can get pricey the longer you leave it... last year i booked a package through snowave and they were pretty good but this year i found accomodation on snowjapan and flights at a travel agent.... japan is an awsome place!!
