All the shipping options at the post office as far as I know have a max length of 150cm. I want to send a snowboard to the UK but when I check UPS, DHL, Nippon Express etc the price is almost the value of the board. Anyone found a way to cheaply send an item greater than 150cm out of Japan ? Thanks

Also after emailing them they said in Japanese "We dont have insurrance for foreigners" Make of that what you will.

I checked the policy on this website: http://kshj.co.jp/ And it doesnt look like it covers you for what would normally be covered by Japanese national heath insurrance. Anyone know of any places which will cover you for the entire hospital bill ? I have private health insurrance and it doesnt cover snowboarding.

Hi there I am intersted in finding a place to snowkite in Naggano or Niigata Obviously it cant be done in resorts so needs to be back country. As I am a snowkite begginer somewhere flat and open would be ideal. Any ideas ?
