Looked like fun guys, glad you had a great last day out Fubuki!!! Speaking of Murodo, wouldn't it be sick if they opened up Tateyama..... like NOW!!! It's spring already, it feels like Tateyama time doesn't it? Kuma -- do you know the people in charge? Let's send them lots of e-mails telling them we want to camp and ski there now

I flew with Cathay Pacific to New Zealand and the travel agent i booked the flight with told me they would charge me 30,000 yen to take my skis with me.... i had already paid so much for the flight anyway, so was totally pissed and called the Cathay Pacific desk at Narita to check exactly what my baggage allowance was - they then kindly informed me that i could take a ski bag on top of my normal luggage allowance at no extra charge, they said as long as the ski bag didn't weigh more than 25kg, they would only count it as 3kg of my total weight allowance! STOKED! Don't know where my travel ag -

KUMA ---- just a thought, i'm a skier, can i carry skis on the burton zoom bag? does it have a diagonal ski carry loop or any of that jazz? i suspect not.... perhaps i'll have to get the dakine sequence pack? doing some major net searching on this one now. -

yeee i'm sure you can blame the photographer, never used an slr before -
Not quite sure if this counts as a TR, but anyway - i took my new Nikon D80 out to shoot around Miasa, Aokiko & Hakuba this afternoon . Not sure at all how to really use it yet, and this is really the first day i've spent any time doing anything with it, but i'm really liking everything about it so far. Here are a few photos from today..... Kashimayari Miasa Shrine in Miasa Aokiko Matsukawa & Mountains I wasn't particulary happy with any of the shots i took at the Matsukawa today --
