  1. Couple of hours before the first Bledisloe Cup test and strangely I'm feeling no sympathy for you. Could be the cask of Aussie Wine we're drinking from.

But back to the point ole shriveled one. Which limbs are missing? Lower or upper? Upper and you can still hit the slopes, ut have a devil of a pulling the pudd.

  2. They may be redirecting you to another page in their site.

Some sites take some info from your browser (screen size, language, browser version) etc and then send to to the part of the site set up to meet this data).

Try back clicking and if you can't get past the previous page then this is most likely the cause.

Don't listen to Bushpig. Both limbs have grown back and he's a one eyed Aussie anyway. What he's not telling you is that the radiation released turned his nuts into the gray version of Umeboshi

  3. Well I went and didn't have to fork out a penny. Kept the envelope in my pocket and am now back to my sheltered existence in Hakuba.

Enjoyable event but Tokyo is no place to be wandering around in a suit. Quick change in the loo at Osaki sataion after the event.

Got to watch the German / Agentine game at the hotel. Can't get NHK at our place as the ski jump is in the way of the reception.(NHK doesn't even bother trying to colect fees up here)

  4. Is his quiting a final decision. I heard on the news he was thinking of staying on.

Anyway, 3 prime candidates are Aso, Fukuda and Abe, all offspring (or relatives) of previous prime ministers.

    Just my impression but:

ASO looks like a Yakuza hit man with his arrogant smirk

FUKUDA reminds me of Gomer Pyle

ABE seems to be the most popular but appears to be a bit of a cold fish.

  5. Thanks Slow and Kintaro.

I'll take the money anyway and only bring it out if everyone else seems to be.

The opening ceremony is tomorrow but they don't actually have any guests coming until July 7th. So I might just send some flowers for then if I get away with not paying.

These guys did us a huge favor recently when they closed down their own English site and and now book exclusively through us.

  6. I have to attend the opening of a new hotel in Tokyo on Saturday, and it's just stuck me that it may be like a wedding in that you have to hand over the envelope full of cash at the uketsuke.

Anyone been to a big opening before?

In a bit of a panic here. Any advice welcome.

  7. Right click on the folder you have all your important stuff in, and click properties.

ON the window that pops up click "shared" (I'm not too sure as I have a Japanese comp".

This will give you a couple of check box options.

The top one should say " make this file private". Check that and click "apply" or "OK"

All I did was click on my network and clicked on workgroup computers and they all popped up. Then you could access the shared files on the computers.

  8. If you're using windows, make sure all you important stuff is set to private, and remove any files you are sharing if you are going on an open network.

Once in a Toyoko Inn I was able to see everyone else wo was online and able to get access to shared files on about half the computers. Woke me up to the dangers of open networks.
