hmm, i did the eikaiwa thing for a year and a half.... then switched to the AET thing at an elementary school.... the toughest part of being an aet is staying at school for the full 8-9 hrs when i teach b/t 1-3 classes a day during the week......i dont think it's too much to ask to be actually have some 'work' to do while ur supposed to be working. the eikaiwa thing was cool in that i had control over my lessons and other aspects.. and with upper level students there was always some great two-way communication, but the coporate culture within the company drove me nuts....****ers who
