  3. guess 15-20 hours could get me south of Munich. i have a secret plan to go to Norway with my friend when we return from Nepal, but don't tell my wife, she is expecting us to go straight back to Japan

  7. Tsonda, snowlife will not only require more planing, but a sh!t load of money, something that is very difficult to come by living in Tanegashima. But that is ok, i got some secret plans for our new life down there. please come and see us by the way
  8. Still i Shizuoka among moving boxes and bento trays. leaving on the 26. returning to Tanegashima in mid December. my snow life is over

  10. HEHE, i have found an even better way 2 man cheaper Nagoya > Malaysia > Amsterdam. spend the weekend there to get re socialized with the "real" world and then drive 700 km home to old Denmark ...but thanks for the info anyway
  11. SirJibAlot, I had the pleasure to talk to you for a very short time. You seem to be a very nice person to be around, and most of your posts are positive to read. You are young, you have savings and a spouse visa. You can do better than NOVA i think You can do whatever you want here in Japan. But the world is so big, and maybe you should see what your current job can offer. there are so many nice places in this world (still) have you thought about going to Europe?

I know this is not my personal blog, but: i got new visa, out with the "special permission" in with a one year spouse visa. normally immi will not issue re entry permits to people who are still serving their sentences (i finish on November 20) but i guess i was lucky. only problem is there are no flights from Denmark to Nepal, have to go to Delhi. There are direct flights to Kathmandu from Osaka for 10 man.

  16. Hey Tsonda 2 months in europe, 2 months in India/Nepal. i got a LOT of catching up to do. but no cheap tickets to Cph. so i have to go via china and london.
  17. Hi, I am getting ready to leave japan for the first time in 4 years! only option is to go to Heathrow. From Heathrow i need to go to Stansted. Google shows a 20 pound shuttle bus? are there any cheaper options i should look into? Thanks

  20. Sorry, but 406 is easy to drive and the fastest way to Hakuba. it took me less than 2 hours this january from Nagano City, at night. sure it is a little windy and narrow, but not dangerous in any way. just go!
