  1. Unfortunatly, got attacked in a pub in Timaru NZ afew years ago, for no reason other than I had hair down to my arse, Stupid Devil Henchmen (Local neo nazi gang) starts giving me greif, asked him if he could be a nice man and leave me alone, so the bone head flicks out a knife(nearly shat myself)but lucky for me I have been training in different martial art since about 7 years old so I took the knife off him in a not too gentle manner, managed to break his arm in several places at the time, spent a few hours in a police holding tank but got released for self defence.

Best advice, stay out of troubles way. A bit difficult at times so next is take a self defence course, these work, But in NZ if you are a trained fighter by law you must warn your would be attacker first then strike, something to do with the differece between self defence and assault. but for me, if someone is threatening me of my wife they'd better be ready

  2. Yeah, cant wait to get a new Hi Ace, especially for the extra size, the ol Bongo's just a bit small as the missus and I spend alot of time camping in it, being the Bimbo Gaijin we dont tend to pay for accomodation. even in winter its still good to sleep in but the new Hi Ace will be luxury.

  3. Its the first four letters that caught my attention. But yeah your right, is a bit poxy.

plan is to send it back to NZ in dec when shaken runs out as it is the same price to re shaken it as it is to send home, 1998 model is selling for about $7500nz at the mo so good profit, after gonna get a toyota hi ace 4wd to set me up for winter, big buck though.

  4. NOFAKIE, these pads are the tits, just what Ive got but yeah the straps on them are too short, I chopped mine off and the elastic behind the knees is still good enough to hold them in place without having to adjust them all the time, the size of the pads are good to as you dont get sweatty knee pits, the amount of plastic protection is small but all you need, skateboard cheapies are too bulky, used them back in the mid 90s chucked em out soon as i got the salomon ones.

  5. Food for thought, been workin patrol around the world for years now, since the average ablity has increased so hugly over the last ten years accidents involving head injuries has also increased by 80% above all other injuries, hitting trees is generally all cool for bumps on heads but its colliding with the punter that you dont see comin thats the killer. This situation I hace seen more in NZ than any where else cos the snows hard people go fast what ever ability. I myslef have been cleaned up by someone else at least five times while working,so about 4 years ago got myself a helmet more to stop that other person givin me concussion. Stupid thing is NZ patrol, and also Japan patrol have a standard NO HELMETS TO BE WORN WHILE WROKING AS IT PORTAYS SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING AS A DANGEROUS SPORT Bloody stupid or what.

I give helmets the big thumbs up.
