A bunch of us are really interested in doing a lot of day trips this season and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a travel agent, web site etc, to organise bus/train and accomodation packages. Mainly interested in day trips at the moment, but am also interested in accomodation packages also. Also interested in finding packages up to Hokkaido in late Feb and March. Thanks for all the info

Was at Iwadake in Nagano last week and the queue for the gondola was huge. About a 10-15 min wait. All the other lifts were ok though. Max 5 min wait.

Have been boarding a fair bit recently with old friends and new and found that katsu curry and a cold beer make for the perfect lunch on the mountain.. How about everyone else? And WHERE is the best katsu curry?

Was in Nagano a couple of weeks ago at Tsugaike and Iwadake. Both decent resorts and relatively close to Hakuba Station, I think the closest one is Hakuba 47 though.
