  2. Thanks yamayamayama Going for 2 for 2 with a correct picture post. Following instructions, here goes.
  3. Waa hoo! I am officially not a guess where this is virgin any more. Will post another, hopefully, this afternoon. At work at moment.
  4. Hey Rucky We will have to get some lines together I will be in R around that time get their on the 3 Feb Sounds like a good plan. Look forward to meeting up and thanks for offer.
  5. Yeah. Still a bit early for me & most footy codes here, have their finals in September. So still a good times for warming up the TV and pies and getting the beer cold. Go Swannies. Oh yeah. Apology in order, Hakuba, not how I spelt it above.
  6. How's all the training going? Is the start of your red season time to think about pre season exercise or is the weather still perfect for pies, beer and football? I have noticed a bit of buzz with posts of people preparing to ski early season, the first call of bottomless pow for Hukaba and people starting to sort trips with the call "book now".
  7. Oops, meant 2014. Dont tell the missus And hope to be neck deep in pow, feb 14! Am there a bit earlier, from about the 6 feb. ~ 10 days at R, 10 days at N
  8. Brought a lot of gear this year to be prepared for Feb trip to Japan. Will post photos later as want to show gear in use. Rock on Feb 14.
  9. Depends on the fridge. Ours has the ice making function whereby you put water into a tank and then it turns that into ice, no need for plumbing. We got that type for the very reason that no plumbing is required as the house we are in at the moment is a rented one. That sounds like fridge that I want to get next. Definitely want an ice maker as love ice in my drinks and so over those tilt trays, the forgetting to refill them and the ice sticking. But dont want the hassle of cutting an in fill slab to hook water pipes up. What a great idea. Will have to look for in Oz.
  10. The three wheeled step climbing trolley trucks, just to clarify
  11. Good to hear K's solved there problem. It can be hard to get good service these days and I understand the displeasure. Don't like getting angry too. The straps sound like a good idea, seen experienced furniture removalists use them. I always leave the packaging cardboard on in case of bumps/ knocks going up stairs. Walls can be patched quite easily but harder to hide dents in a new fridge. Obvious but thought worth mentioning. The hand trolley trucks with a ratchet hold down strap work well but you will still have to wiggle around corners.
  12. Reckon there will be a few heading down this we. With all the snow & split fest. Ugh, work got in the way for me. Hope it's not too windy for those down there & GN is correct with it snowing thru Sept. I'm still hoping to get to Island Bend sometime.
  13. Not sure how popular it is in Japan but have heard people wake board in off season. There are some water parks here that have it. Boarders that do both say it helps with practicing tricks as feels similar to boarding. But could be fairly costly to gear up Also heard some SJ'rs into canoeing but you probably know that
  14. Sounds like yet another Abenomics success story! With more abenomics success, I may have to take another peek.
  15. I thought that too compared to my old missions that have just about disintegrated - the missions were very old tech and hence the need for purchase but felt a lot stiffer. Am also impressed by the lacing, comfort and of course cool factor
  16. Yep that's a few nice meals / drinks or even another board. I made good with the spending money converted at parity but lost a bit by being a little slow on paying for trip but no going back now its locked in.
  17. I don't like faffing about either (its not huge amounts for me but nice to convert when its in my favor) but not sure about this new abenomics speak of "fannying"
