  1. I worked with a bloke who is a mad keen fisho. Now I got a room in the shed full of the stuff. Such a bargain, couldn't afford not to buy it.
  2. Brought the Missus new board, bindings and wheelie bag - she can carry her own board this time. Still searching/ deciding on a board for me and getting more confused by the minute

  4. Thanks. Yeah. We have two, Mac and Murph. Our place is a bit of a managerie. Some tame, some wild . Dogs ( 2 x borders), birds ( 1 x chook, lots of kookas) ,a cat & a mob of wallabies, water dragons and other nasties
  5. Hello I am the newbie who dropped in on the powder Niseko thread yeaterday. Introducing myself and my lucky boarder mate on the LHS - Mactavish. Hastening slowly with forum/ lingo/ guidelines (must remember to read those and doesn't help when I type with only two fingers) but have been viewing site for number of years for info and snow reports. Entered the site with the excuse of winning a Hano ski pass but really after the interaction of fellow yetis , especially this time of year
  6. Yes thats the board (can tell by the graphics -the more I look at it the more I gotta have) but I cant read Japanese to be 100 % sure. Only concern is if its wide which i dont think I really need/ want . Just going on the advice of reviews/ sizing there. Thanks for all the advice on how to purchase. How do i petition to change thread? Very very newbie to online world but need to win lift pass to board japan powder. Getting closer now. Throw in a cat skiing/ powder guide comp and I'll run out of download time

  8. I am jumping on the give away band wagon too. Have been coming to Japan for a number of years now for the snow, visiting Niseko, Furano, Hakuba, Tommanu and have viewed the snow japan site for lots of useful stuff. Thanks and apologies for not posting sooner. Nothing like the temptation of a freebie to motivate this old boarder. We missed out big time last year, as we were over cautious with worry about the power plant fall out and went to Utah to try and get our powder fix. Great terrain there and would have been really good in trees if it had snowed a bit more. Locals were calling the wors
