LOL great review. I like how the fury is seemingly trying to pop your eyeballs out and escape into the atmosphere at the slightest hint of frustration! There was a case here in Australia of a woman driving her car down a fire trail and off a small cliff because the satnav told her to. She sustained minor injuries but luckily the satnav was unharmed.

I agree. Whilst walking lost in Tokyo I had a very nice Japanese gentleman walk up and offer me some help. He saw me reading a map and clearly knew that I had no idea where I was lol so he helped me out and it made a lasting impression on me. Upon returning to Australia at my local train station I saw a group of elderly Japanese looking at maps and displaying all the same characteristics that I was when I was lost in Tokyo. I walked up and asked them if they needed help, they almost fell over from shock and graciously accepted my help which was merely pointing them in the right direction. Sma

6 hours at narita and you cant check your bags for another 3 hours I bet. We went upstairs with all our bags and boards, go left at the top of the escelator, there are a few areas with seats up there where you can make yourself a home for the next few hours. -

You certainly nailed it mate. You got way more snow than I did but we did get 1 semi and 1 total bluebird day which was good. I would trade it for your 1m+ of snow though! -

Recommendations for tree runs

Basically yes. The cat part originates from the snow cat . The cat track is a small trail that is used as an access road for the snow cat so it does not have to blaze straight up the steep slope carrying its cargo of people or supplies. -

Surely you can retrofit a different cannister for use in different countries? If not that is a severe design flaw in the truely global world of snowsports. -

Im not having a go, everyone likes what they like and thats what makes snowboarding so great. I was trying to help you with what I believe to be the correct terminology for what you are looking for so hopefully you get more accurate results in your search. -

Sorry but that is a cat track. That vid is like a narrow run (that would be marked on the map) with trees on the side rather that what most would call a tree run where you actually negotiate your own line through a patch of trees. As for where you can find that in japan I cannot help sorry. -

It really does take a long time to discover everything there is to offer out there. Just when you think you know the place like the back of your hand you get blown away by a jewel you cruised straight past 50 times before. -

Vision is definitely handy although dropping into that bowl area will bring you out at the top of "furikozawa" no matter what you do so there is no need to worry about getting lost in there. Hopefully you get a chance to hit it as it is truly one of the best spots out there. Ps how is my husky voiced mate going at oktoberfest?
