I would warn against used here really.
Some of the stuff they rent out here is a disgrace in my opinion. Wonder how old it gets before they sell it!

Have fun!
I'll be skiing at Zao.

It does look likely we will have some wild conditions, but it may change before we get there, hopefully.

I often find it fascinating how the styles of houses change by region.
My parents old house is a ground flood place, it is old in style and the snow is a real issue in winter and far from ideal.
The newer places around their home are all either raised with a number of steps leading up to the genkan, or have the ground floor garage shape.
Good luck with the process, dumbstick and have fun. I'd take in people's thoughts but ultimately of course go with what you want.

Just too cold for me without a helmet so yes I wear one and enjoy wearing it.

Good to hear they are busy, pity about the main numbers.

Can hardly believe it is the last day of the year!
Lots of personal stuff to deal with and just about now settling down.
Here's a few photos from the last few days in Zao, will add more.
Not the most snow here yet really, though fully open. I'd like 50cm more in one go please.

I hear this time anyone with any version can change the UI language.
That was always annoying with Windows before now.
I'm too busy not to have to learn a new computer system though, so not for me.

I think I like The Living Daylights best.
A good antidote after Roger Moore time

Yes would be good if there was more choices nearby to make it more of a destination.
