Just wondering what you guys think the best place for boarding (or skiing) in Hokkaido besides Niseko is? and why? Going to Hokkaido for the first time this year and just after some other options besides Niseko. Thanks for the help guys.

Do you remember if it was great conditions around Christmas last year?

I am planning on going to Hokkaido around Christmas and just recently heard that there might not be much "good" powder snow around then. From what I could gather from the archives this is not the case but can any of the locals tell me that what the Niseko conditions have been like for the past few years? Cheers guys.

I'm planning my first trip to Hokkaido around this Christmas. (Live in Osaka and have always boarded Nagano region.) Anyway, will be in Hokkaido for about one week and want to hit the slopes for about four or five days. Where would you guys recommend be the best place to go for good snow around that time? Cheers
