Something isn't right with the Nozawa webcams either. They haven't updated for close to a week. Very frustrating with the first decent snow in the forecast.

I stayed at Masazo last Feb. Its a nice family owned lodge. I think only breakfast is provided but I was invited to have dinner and beer/saki with the family who owned the lodge every night I was there. They have 2 sons who speak broken english and are really funny. The father also told me when I checked in that I was more than welcome to brings girls back for the night. Sadly I didn't manage that. The lodge has it's own onsen downstairs which was cool. Pretty much it was fine for what I needed. It's about a 5 minute walk up to the Nagasaka gondola and probably 5 minutes to the main
