Hunter Mountain is about 28km from the Nishi Nasuno Shiobara IC on the Tohoku Expressway.
From the Nishi Nasuno Shiobara IC exit turn right onto Route 400 and after about 17.5km turn left onto the Nichien Momiji Line road. The ski area is just over 10km along this road on the left hand side. Approaching from the south (central Nikko city), head north on Route 121 and then take the Nichien Momiji Line.
There is parking for 2,000 vehicles in a large number of parking areas by the base of the ski area.
Parking is free on weekdays and 1,000 yen on weekends and holidays in the main season.
The car parks are open 24 hours a day.
