Yunomaru is about 14km from Shigeno Station and 19km from Komoro Station on the Shinano Tetsudo Line.


There is no ski area shuttle bus service available.


According to the official website, these are the times and approximate charges of taxis from nearby stations:


Shigeno Station: about 14km (25 minutes) and a taxi charge of just under 7,000 yen

Komoro Station: about 20km (35 minutes) and a taxi charge of just over 8,000 yen

Sakudaira Station: about 29km (50 minutes) and a taxi charge of just under 11,000 yen

By road

Yunomaru is about 14km (20-25 minutes) from the Tobu Yunomaru IC exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Head north from the Tomi area on Prefecture Road 94 up to the ski area.


From the Tobu Yunomaru IC exit, turn left onto Prefecture Road 81 and then soon after turn left onto Prefecture Road, right again and then right once more until reaching the Mihari traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Prefecture Road 94.


Continue on this road until reaching Yunomaru.


There is free parking for 1,400 cars on six car parks around the base area. The car parks are open 24 hours a day.
