Sakae Club is less than 2km off the main Route 117 road that goes from Nagano city to Ojiya city in Niigata Prefecture.
There are two exits on expressways that are convenient.
From the Toyota Iiyama IC exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway, Sakae Club is about 36km, and the journey usually takes about 40 minutes.
From the Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC on the Kanetsu Expressway (in Minamiuonuma city, Niigata Prefecture), Sakae Club is just over 37km away, and the journey usually takes about 50 minutes.
After exiting the toll booth at Shiozawa Ishiuchi IC, turn right and continue for 1km until reaching Route 17. Turn left onto Route 17 towards Yuzawa, and after about 650m, turn right onto Route 353. Continue on Route 353 for about 18km until reaching the Route 117 traffic light junction. Turn left onto Route 117 (Nozawa Onsen is on the main signpost). Continue on Route 117, through Tsunan town and over the border into Nagano Prefecture for about 15km. Turn right at the signs to head up to Sakae Club.

There is a car park close to the base of Sakae Club for over 200 vehicles. Parking is free every day of the season.
