The latest Furano Now report can be found here . Morning mist was covering the mountain but has just lifted to reveal a beautiful blue sky day. The resort is reporting that the Kitanomine Gondola will be back in action today which will give access to some great powder from the last few days. The temperatures is currently -8c and will go up to -1c. Overnight there has been a light dusting of 1cm of new snow. With sunshine, plenty of snow and blue sky it will be a great morning. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . The snow front yesterday was epic and delivered 62cm at base level. Needless to say it was a great day on the mountain, but that dump of snow did catch the resort off guard and they were not able to get the Gondola operating today - when it does kick back into operation there is going to be some fantastic untracked powder for the early birds on the Kitanomine side. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . Furano Ski Resort has an official opening target of this Saturday 20 November. At this stage some significant snowfall will be needed to be able to achieve opening on that day. The good news is the first accumulation of snowfall in the ski village has occurred overnight. There is 3cm of snow on the ground, but is it is disappearing quickly as the morning rolls on. It is pleasing to see the Kitanomine slopes covered in white from top to bottom from the overnight snow. Cloud cover is low and there is a light to moderate wind blowing meaning that the Gondola speed has been reduced. Visibility is better than it looks and is reasonable most of the time. The courses have not had much grooming and there is plenty of fresh powder on trail. Visibility is good on the lower mountain but higher up it will be variable. Yesterday and overnight there has been another good amount of snow accumulate. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . It is snowing very lightly and the fine snowflakes amount to 2cm on the ground. After a mild weekend, temperatures have moved back to winter and we are starting the day at -16c. With plenty of fresh snow recently the trails have great snow conditions as do the ungroomed areas. Further snow is forecast through until Thursday. Saturday and Sunday will turn warm with highs predicted to go above zero degrees. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . It is a nice bright start to the morning. There was blue sky earlier on but it has clouded over. It is not snowing now and there is a 50% chance of some light snow during the day. Yesterday there was a further 5cm of snow at village level. The temperature will be a high of -7c, and is currently on -12c. From tomorrow temperatures will be milder, and Saturday, Sunday, Monday are forecast to go above freezing. The snow is expected to continue through the day. There is little in the way of wind and the temperature is a pleasant -8c and will go up to -5c. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . It is a nice clear morning over the resort with a mild start of -7c. The temperature will go up to -2c during the day. The next 3 days will be unseasonably warm and temperatures of +2-3c are expected. This morning there is no new snow, but there was 9cm yesterday at base and on the upper mountain this was around 20cm. There is plenty on powder off the main trails and great groomed powder conditions on trail.
