The latest Furano Now report can be found here . It is snowing lightly with a light wind. The cloud is sitting low over the mountain and visibility looks to be limited at the moment. Snow conditions are excellent with plenty of new snow that fell through yesterday and another fresh layer overnight. Good news, Kitanomine Zone is open this morning. However the Kitanomine Gondola will not be operating, meaning that the upper half of Kitanomine cannot be accessed. Looks like the Furano Zone will be the place to head for those looking for longer runs and steeper terrain. The latest Furano Now report can be found here . The snow storm seems to have ended in Furano but has left a massive 46cm of new snow around the ski village. It is snowing lightly still, and snow is expected through to midday and then cloudy conditions after that. There is a slight breeze at the moment. Currently -9c the high for the day will be only -7c.
