Whilst clear at base, half way upwards I make visibility at about 100-150m with moderate to stiff winds.

After a fairly sunny day yesterday (which failed to dislodge the 2' of snow still on my roof because of the temperature), we're back to fog, a recurring pattern here.

As at report time, the sun is out at base with misty conditions further up, but, on the far-right side (summit/Utopia/Kurohime) it is snowing.

Not that much fresh snow this morning but, what there is, is very fluffy.

This morning the mountain tops are bathed in sunlight and it is a beautiful morning. Very cold though and any water spilt quickly turns to ice.

It snowed a treat last night (with high winds). Winds have dropped today and all lifts which are supposed to be running are.

Joy! Sufficient snow to cover up the grooming so floating this morning.

It really started to snow from mid-afternoon yesterday, even covering some tracks making the Omori amazing.

Bright and crisp is how I'd call today, otherwise same ol' same ol' with the sun still an orb behind the clouds.

Not too different to yesterday except much quieter. Very moderate snow continues to fall but it seems that we can look forward to a blue-sky day on Wednesday and then back to snowfall.

Not much new snow overnight but it continues to snow and more is expected over the next few days.

First thing this morning it was nice and bright up to mid-levels, but, just as I write, it has started snowing again with the mist coming down.

To those following but were unable to join us, we hope that you will be able to visit next year and that conditions are just as good with no Murphy in sight.

I thought I got it terribly wrong yesterday because as soon as the post went up, it started to rain.
