It was raining quite heavily yesterday afternoon at times, apparently even higher up. It was rather dark too at times, all a bit gloomy.

Not the nicest of weather conditions for this first day of the ski season in Yuzawa.

Just a bit of snow down in Yuzawa town since yesterday, though much more falling at higher elevations and up at Naeba too.

Yesterday was a generally snowy day.

This morning I have the first cm of snowfall to report to you.
