It was raining quite heavily yesterday afternoon at times, apparently even higher up. It was rather dark too at times, all a bit gloomy. I was driving along Route 17 around 2:30pm and the temperature shown by the road was 12C.
This morning there's a lot of fog and low cloud and it is still a bit damp; though cloudy is what the forecast has lined up for us today. It's going to be colder than the last few days and colder still tomorrow.
Still not much snowfall on the forecast as it stands so we are going to have to remain patient. We still have a few weeks before a large number of the ski resorts in the area plan to be open, so plenty of time yet.
Poor visibility early on at Kagura.
