So we had those wild conditions yesterday, but things have calmed down this morning.

I have been out of Shiga Kogen until just 30 minutes ago and I was worried that the rain in the valley might be happening here too...

After the snow of yesterday it was cold last night but temperatures are quickly rising here as the sun is out early on and shining down on us.

The snow continues though the numbers aren't so big really. Add another 15cm or so since yesterday.

The snow is coming down very nicely at the moment here, and since last night I have about 15cm to report.

Just a sprinkling of snow overnight here, though lots of the resorts have added 10cm or so to their snow depth numbers.

It's overcast in Shiga Kogen this morning though fairly bright and the sun straining to break through the thin cloud cover.
