New snowfall at base 30cm
Snowfall at base this season 261cm

It's whiteout conditions this morning in Shiga Kogen.
Rather windly and heavy snow falling as I write this, visibility... not good. Snow conditions... should be good. The wind is blowing it about but there was at least 30cm on the roofs of the cars in the car park this morning and it is still coming down.
The wind seems to be affecting lifts at some resort areas, particular Yokoteyama and Okushiga Kogen - at their last updated before 9am there were both waiting for conditions to improved to open.
The only resort areas to increase official snow depth this morning are Terakoya (which was standing on 120cm for what seems like ages), Kumanoyu and Yokoteyama. All of the others have 'updated' weather conditions and temperatures but not moved those numbers. It's as if they are allergic to numbers of 120cm or something! I just don't get it. But anyway... believe me, we have some new snow this morning.
