Cold and a bit windy this morning but most areas appear to be opening as normal.

The clouds have cleared up, it's cold and a clear sunny morning here in Shiga Kogen.

It might be raining down in the valley and on the route up to Shiga Kogen but as you get up past Sun Valley and higher... it is snowing.

Yesterday was a very nice surprise. The snow didn't last the day but I do have some more cm to add from yesterday to my report today.

Mid-winter! I have had to shovel snow this morning. It really does feel like January again.

A few cm of snow and hopefully some more to report tomorrow morning.

We got more snow folks.

And it is good to be able to report some fresh snow on the ground with snow falling as we approach 8am.

The sun is out early this morning and it is going to be a fine day with remaining clouds quickly clearing up.

That snow didn't last too long yesterday but I can add 1cm more since I wrote the report. The roads are clear.

And I actually have some good news. It's snowing!

It was actually snowing yesterday and quite a bit for a short time too... it didn't last.

Lots of cloud. Some sun. Bit of fresh snow on the ground since report yesterday.

Very limited visibility this morning and snow is falling.
